Master Case Series Season III – Knee

Masterful real cases executed by masters of knee surgery

When: 30th and 31st March 2024

Where: Delhi

When bad luck strikes, it can hit you in bizarre ways. One such instance is stopping your car and trying to locate your sunglasses, then someone crashes into you from behind, dislocating your proximal tibio-fibular joint!

The proximal tib-fib joint has always been overshadowed by its bigger cousin, the much larger tibio-femoral joint and hence it is much less studied and much less injured too, unlike the distal tib-fib joint, that at least has some size parity with its bigger cousin, the ankle joint.

No knee surgeon can claim to have a wealth of experience with this hitherto hidden joint, and hence it would be very enlightening to hear Mr Greville Farrar from the UK speak on how he managed this rare injury.
